Taste, discover and enjoy the world of specialty beer. Hellobier selects 4 different beers from the store's range. Under the guidance of a beer sommelier, you will taste these beers and receive an explanation about the beer, the brewery, brewing in general and other fun beer facts. Of course you can also ask questions so that you can learn more about beer.
The selection of beers is chosen by beer sommelier Job Nijhoff. After confirming the reservation, you can, if desired, personally coordinate with him which selection of beers you will taste. It is also possible to participate in a low-alcohol tasting. Please indicate this when making your reservation.
Job is the proud owner of the beerstore at the Noordkade since november 2020. Together with a team of beer enthusiasts, Job runs the beer shop six days a week to provide other beer lovers with the finest beers.
In addition to being a proud owner, he also holds the International Beer Sommelier Diploma, where you take your exam in Öbertrum, Austria. With his knowledge of beer and experience in the shop, Job knows the trends and how to distinguish beers from each other.
Surprising beer selections can be compiled from the assortment in the shop for both novice beer explorers and experienced Beer Geeks. Of course, a selection can also be made based on an Untappd account. If Job himself is not able to conduct the beer tasting, another beer expert will enthusiastically take care of it.
Hellobier timeline:
